In 1996 while working in the printing industry at a local Engineering firm, I found it frustrating that there were only two products available for hand folding. One was plastic and deteriorated quickly from the friction of folding and the other was made from an unidentifiable ‘bone' material. Believing there was a better design and material to make this product from; I commenced the task of delivering a better hand folding tool. Several months and many prototypes later, the Folding Bone was created!

In December 1995 an article appear in the Calgary Herald under ‘Inventors Corner' helping to launch the
Folding Bone. With the help of several friends, acquaintances and business associates who donated their time, services and knowledge the Folding Bone ‘hit the road' attending Canadian Print Tradeshows. The rest is history!
